Online Portfolio Reviews

(Open for No Borders Award Finalists)

An online Portfolio Review is an event dedicated to the participants selected by reviewers. It will be a video conversation prepared by the Partners to create a wider understanding of a subject, taking into consideration different perspectives. Partners will mostly talk about photographs prepared by photographers. They will discuss specifics of the medium on individual photographs that has an enormous educational impact on aspiring photographers. The Portfolio Review will be in the form of closed meetings, which will be premiered each month.

Online webinars are live events hosted by experts and invited artists from Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Czechia, and Slovakia. The event is dedicated to the public directly interested in the Visegrad photography scene. Webinars have a specific topic chosen about the specific photography practices of the guest. It will be a video conversation with a possibility of discussion to create a wider understanding of a subject, taking into consideration different perspectives. During the talk, we will discuss specifics of the medium of individual photographs that have an enormous educational impact on aspiring photographers. The inclusion of the participants into the discussion will result in the improvement of knowledge about national and regional cultural tendencies, common social issues, active cooperation, recognition of the neighborhood, and a feeling of belonging to a broader community.
